Ingredients

Units Scale
  • For the Dough:
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • For the Stuffed Crust:
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or string cheese
  • For the Toppings:
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1/3 cup sliced jalapeños
  • 1215 slices pepperoni
  • Drizzle of ranch (optional)

Instructions

  1. Make the Dough: In a bowl, combine yeast, warm water, and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix and knead until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
  2. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
  3. Shape the Dough: Roll out into a rectangle or circle on a floured surface. Place mozzarella around the edges, then fold the edges over and seal to form the stuffed crust. Transfer to a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Assemble the Pizza: Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough. Add shredded cheese, then top with pepperoni, pineapple chunks, and jalapeños.
  5. Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  6. Finish: Drizzle with ranch before serving if desired.

Notes

  • Use string cheese for an easier stuffed crust option.
  • Adjust jalapeños based on your spice preference.
  • Try adding red onion or fresh basil for extra flavor.
  • Dough can be made ahead and refrigerated overnight.
