Topping

  • 1/4 cup ketchup (For topping and glaze.)

Instructions

  1. Preparation Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a loaf pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Mix Vegetables and Meat In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, diced bell peppers, grated carrots, shredded zucchini, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, and parsley.
  3. Prepare Wet Mixture In a separate small bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, oregano, thyme, smoked paprika, and cumin.
  4. Combine Mixtures Pour the wet mixture into the turkey mixture and mix gently until fully combined, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Shape the Meatloaf Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf shape and smoothing the top.
  6. Add Topping Spread ketchup evenly over the top of the loaf.
  7. Cooking Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Resting Remove from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Letting the meatloaf rest after baking helps it hold together better when slicing.
