Salmon

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

Marinade

  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Garnish

  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your grill to medium-high heat (375°F) or oven to 400°F.
  2. Mix Marinade Whisk together maple syrup, bourbon, soy sauce, garlic, and black pepper in a bowl.
  3. Marinate Salmon Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable bag; pour half of the marinade over them and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Grill Salmon If grilling, place salmon skin-side down on the grill; brush with reserved marinade and grill for about 5-6 minutes per side until cooked through.
  5. Bake Salmon If baking, place salmon on a lined baking sheet; brush with marinade and bake for around 12-15 minutes until flaky.
