  • 6 cups water
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup dried lavender flowers (or 1/3 cup fresh lavender flowers)
  • 1 cup fresh squeezed or bottled lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients: In a small saucepan, combine 2 cups of the water with the sugar and lavender.
  2. Boil: Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. Steep: Remove from heat and let the mixture steep for about 10 minutes.
  4. Strain: Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove the lavender flowers.
  5. Mix: In a large pitcher, combine the lavender mixture with the lemon juice and remaining 4 cups of water. Stir well.
  6. Serve: Serve over ice and enjoy.
