Fillings and Garnish

  • 8 bao buns
  • 1 cup cucumber, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • 1 cup red cabbage, shredded
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Marinate Chicken: Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and place them in a bowl with the buttermilk. Let them marinate for at least 20 minutes.
  2. Mix Coating: In another bowl, mix the flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
