Main Ingredients
½ cup milk of choice (dairy, almond, oat, etc.)
2 shots espresso or ½ cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
2 tablespoons raspberry puree (see below for recipe)
1 tablespoon vanilla syrup or ½ teaspoon vanilla extract + sweetener
Ice cubes
Optional Toppings
Whipped cream
Fresh raspberries
Crushed freeze-dried raspberries
Raspberry Puree Ingredients (if making your own)
Fresh or frozen raspberries
Sugar or sweetener to taste (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Raspberry Puree: If not using store-bought raspberry puree, blend fresh or frozen raspberries with a bit of sugar or sweetener if desired. Chill the puree thoroughly before using.
Brew and Chill Your Coffee: Brew two shots of espresso or ½ cup of strong coffee using your preferred method such as a French press, espresso machine, or stovetop moka pot. Allow the coffee to cool completely.
Assemble the Drink: In a tall glass, add the chilled raspberry puree followed by the vanilla syrup or extract mixed with sweetener. Fill the glass with ice cubes to keep the drink cold.
Pour the Milk: Add ½ cup of your chosen milk to the glass and stir gently to combine the flavors without losing the iced effect.
Add the Coffee: Slowly pour the cooled espresso or brewed coffee over the milk to create a visually appealing layered effect.
Garnish and Serve: Optionally, top the iced latte with whipped cream, fresh raspberries, or crushed freeze-dried raspberries. Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing latte.
Notes
Substitute coffee with chilled vanilla chai tea concentrate or steeped chai tea bags for a different flavor.
Add a pinch of cinnamon or cardamom to the raspberry puree or milk for added warmth and complexity.
Sweeten with honey or maple syrup instead of vanilla syrup according to your preference.
