For the Dough:
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup warm water
2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
For the Toppings:
1 cup pizza sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup pepperoni slices
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
For the Garlic Dip:
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp sour cream
1 clove garlic, finely minced
1/2 tsp lemon juice
Salt to taste
In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.
Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Knead the dough for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Cover and let rise in a warm area for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the dough into a large circle with a thick outer crust.
Spread pizza sauce over the base. Top with mozzarella, pepperoni, oregano, garlic powder, and optional chili flakes.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and slightly browned.
While baking, mix all garlic dip ingredients in a small bowl. Chill for 10 minutes.
Slice pizza and serve with garlic dip in the center for dunking.
For a crispier bottom, preheat a pizza stone or bake directly on an oven rack.
Add stuffed crust by folding mozzarella sticks into the outer edge before baking.
Dip can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
