This Sweet Cannelloni is a crispy, creamy, and coffee-infused twist on the classic tiramisu. Lightly fried cannelloni pasta shells are dipped in coffee syrup, then filled with a rich mascarpone cream. After chilling, they transform into an indulgent, melt-in-your-mouth dessert perfect for any occasion!

  • 250g cannelloni pasta
  • 250ml heavy whipping cream
  • 150g mascarpone cheese
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp instant coffee
  • 3/4 cup water
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • Fry the Cannelloni:
    • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
    • Fry the cannelloni pasta until golden brown and crispy.
    • Remove and place on a cooling rack to drain excess oil.
  • Prepare the Coffee Dip:
    • In a medium bowl, dissolve instant coffee in ¾ cup water.
    • Dip the fried cannelloni into the coffee mixture, coating evenly.
    • Set aside.
  • Make the Mascarpone Cream:
    • In a bowl, beat heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
    • Gently fold in the mascarpone cheese until smooth.
    • Transfer the cream into a piping bag.
  • Fill & Chill:
    • Pipe the mascarpone filling into the coffee-soaked cannelloni shells.
    • Place in the fridge to chill for at least 4 hours.
  • Serve & Enjoy:
    • Arrange the chilled cannelloni on a serving plate.
    • Garnish with powdered sugar and serve cold.
    • Enjoy with a cup of espresso or a drizzle of chocolate!
