This vibrant and refreshing non-alcoholic mint julep is a sparkling citrus delight, combining lemonade and limeade with homemade mint syrup and fizzy mineral water. Garnished with lemon slices, fresh mint, and maraschino cherries, it’s perfect for parties, kids, or hot summer days.

Ingredients

  • 1 sprig fresh mint
  • 2 1/3 tbsp frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 4 tsp frozen limeade concentrate
  • 9/16 cup frozen lemonade concentrate (extra for base)
  • 1/3 cup frozen limeade concentrate (extra for flavor depth)
  • 10 tbsp homemade non-alcoholic crème de menthe (mint syrup)
  • 25 tbsp simple syrup or infused simple syrup
  • 5 cups sparkling mineral water
  • 1 1/4 cups ice
  • 2 maraschino cherries
  • 1 bamboo skewer
  • 1 or 2 straws per glass

Instructions

  1. In a pitcher, combine the frozen lemonade and limeade concentrates, crème de menthe syrup, and simple syrup. Stir until fully blended.
  2. Slowly pour in the sparkling mineral water and stir gently to preserve the fizz.
  3. Fill each serving glass with crushed ice or cubes.
  4. Pour the mint julep mixture over the ice, filling each glass to the top.
  5. Garnish with a lemon slice, a sprig of mint, and maraschino cherries skewered on bamboo sticks.
  6. Add striped paper straws or reusable drink stirrers for a festive touch.
  7. Serve immediately while chilled and fizzy.
