Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent dough sheet (or pizza dough)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled sausage
  • 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced red bell peppers (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Non-stick spray or oil for pan

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Cook until softly scrambled, then remove from heat.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough onto a lightly floured surface. Press into a rectangle if needed.
  4. Evenly layer scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, bell peppers (if using), and shredded cheddar across the dough.
  5. Starting from one long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log. Slice into 1-inch rolls.
  6. Place each roll flat in the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 18–22 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use pizza dough for a chewier texture.
  • Make ahead and reheat for a quick breakfast during the week.
  • Feel free to substitute or omit the meats for a vegetarian version.
  • Let rolls cool slightly before serving for best texture.
