  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 45 cloves roasted garlic, mashed
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Crusty bread or baguette, sliced

Instructions

  1. Roast the garlic: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the top off a whole bulb of garlic and drizzle with a little olive oil. Wrap it in foil and roast for 30-35 minutes, until soft and caramelized. Allow to cool.
  2. Prepare the butter: In a small bowl, combine the softened butter with the mashed roasted garlic, fresh parsley, chives, sea salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Assemble the butter board: Spread the garlic butter mixture onto a wooden board or serving platter.
  4. Serve: Arrange the sliced crusty bread or baguette next to the butter for dipping. Optionally, sprinkle with extra fresh herbs for garnish.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy with a glass of wine or your favorite drink!
