Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 35 Oreo cookies
  • 475 ml cold heavy cream
  • 150 g granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 450 g mascarpone cheese
  • 1.5 cups brewed coffee, cooled

Topping

  • 100 g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 50 ml heavy cream
  • 50 g white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon oil

Instructions

  1. Whip Cream: In a mixing bowl, whisk the cold heavy cream and granulated sugar using a hand-held electric whisk until stiff peaks form. Set aside this whipped cream carefully to maintain its volume.
  2. Prepare Mascarpone Mixture: In a separate bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone in thirds to create a light, fluffy Oreo mascarpone filling. Optionally fold in 5 tablespoons of crushed Oreo cookies to enhance texture and flavor.
  3. Soak Oreos: Pour the brewed coffee into a shallow dish. Briefly dip Oreo cookies on one side only into the coffee to soak them without making them soggy. Arrange a single layer of these dipped Oreos at the bottom of a 9″ oval dish.
  4. Assemble Layers: Spread half of the Oreo mascarpone filling evenly over the cookie layer. Add a second layer of dipped Oreos on top, following by spreading the remaining mascarpone filling to finish the top layer, smoothing it evenly.
  5. Chill: Cover the assembled tiramisu with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set properly.
  6. Prepare Dark Chocolate Ganache: Microwave the chopped dark chocolate and heavy cream in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval until the mixture is smooth and glossy. Set aside.
  7. Prepare White Chocolate Drizzle: Microwave the chopped white chocolate and oil in 10-second intervals, stirring after each until melted and smooth. Allow to cool slightly while stirring to prevent it from setting.
  8. Decorate: Pour the dark chocolate ganache evenly over the chilled tiramisu, smoothing the top. Transfer the white chocolate mixture into a piping bag with a small snipped hole and pipe horizontal lines across the top. Use a toothpick to drag vertically through the lines creating a marbled pattern. Sprinkle Oreo crumbs around the edges and place one whole Oreo in the center as garnish.
  9. Serve: Slice the tiramisu into servings and enjoy this luxurious, no-bake Oreo twist on a classic tiramisu.

Notes

  • Ladyfinger Swap: Substitute Oreos with classic ladyfingers for a traditional tiramisu experience.
  • Dish Options: Use oval, rectangular, square, round baking dishes, or individual dessert cups based on preference.
  • Topping Alternatives: Instead of ganache and white chocolate drizzle, you may finish with a dusting of cocoa powder or crushed Oreos for a simpler presentation.
