Smooth, creamy white chocolate truffles bursting with bright orange flavor and rolled in powdered sugar for a delightfully sweet citrus treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 tsp orange extract
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Orange food coloring (optional)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar, for rolling

Instructions

  1. In a heatproof bowl, combine white chocolate chips, heavy cream, and butter. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring each time, until fully melted and smooth.
  2. Stir in orange extract, orange zest, and a drop of orange food coloring if using. Mix until fully combined.
  3. Refrigerate the mixture for 1–2 hours until firm enough to scoop.
  4. Using a small cookie scoop or spoon, roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.
  5. Roll each truffle in powdered sugar until fully coated.
  6. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.

Notes

  • For a stronger citrus flavor, add more zest or a few drops of orange juice.
  • Dust off excess powdered sugar before serving for a neater look.
  • Serve chilled or at room temperature depending on texture preference.
