  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Colby & Monterey Jack cheese
  • 6 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Steam or boil broccoli and cauliflower florets until just tender (about 6–8 minutes), then drain and pat dry.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, heavy cream, pepper, and half of the cheddar and Colby Jack cheese.

  6. Top with remaining cheese and sprinkle reserved bacon over the top.
  7. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end of baking.
  • Use pre-steamed veggies to speed up prep.
