A high-protein, low-carb breakfast or snack, these clever egg sliders swap buns for hard-boiled egg halves, layered with crispy bacon, creamy avocado, and sharp cheddar—seasoned simply with salt and pepper for the perfect bite.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs, hard-boiled and peeled
  • 3 slices cooked bacon, halved
  • 6 small squares of cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 avocado, mashed
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Toothpicks, for assembly

Instructions

  1. Slice each hard-boiled egg in half lengthwise.
  2. On one egg half, layer a slice of cheddar, half a strip of bacon, and a small dollop of mashed avocado.
  3. Top with the other egg half to create a slider.
  4. Secure with a toothpick and season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
  5. Serve immediately or chill and enjoy as a make-ahead snack.
