Hye Roller Sandwiches are a party-perfect, no-cook appetizer featuring layers of ham, salami, crisp iceberg lettuce, and zesty cream cheese spread rolled in soft flour tortillas. With a tangy bite from dill pickles and bold Italian flavor, these pinwheels are easy to prep, slice, and serve on any sandwich tray or charcuterie board.

Ingredients

  • 6 large flour tortillas (burrito size)

  • 1 1/2 lbs ham, thinly sliced

  • 1 lb salami, thinly sliced

  • 1 1/2 cups cream cheese, softened

  • 1 packet Italian salad dressing (powdered mix)

  • 3 cups iceberg lettuce, finely shredded

  • 3 Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced

  • 1 medium red onion, thinly sliced

  • 1 dill pickle, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese with Italian dressing powder until fully combined and smooth.

  2. Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture over each tortilla.

  3. Evenly layer ham, salami, shredded lettuce, tomato slices, red onion, and dill pickle slices.

  4. Tightly roll each tortilla into a log.

  5. Wrap each roll in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.

  6. Slice into 1-inch pinwheels using a sharp serrated knife.

  7. Arrange on a platter and serve chilled. Garnish with extra lettuce or pickle slices if desired.
