1cup granulated sugar
1cup water (for simple syrup)
4cups cold water (for dilution)

Instructions
In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water. Heat over medium, stirring until sugar dissolves completely to make simple syrup. Remove from heat and let cool.
In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice and cooled simple syrup.
Add 4 cups of cold water and stir well. Adjust sweetness by adding more water if needed.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices.
