  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • For Serving:
  • 1/2 cup marinara or pizza sauce, warmed
  • Fresh basil (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Place flatbread or rolled pizza dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  2. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the flatbread.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously over the top. Add Parmesan if using.
  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden around the edges.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Slice into sticks.
  7. Serve warm with a side of marinara sauce and garnish with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

  • For a crispier base, bake the flatbread for 3–4 minutes before adding cheese.
  • Add red pepper flakes for a little heat.
  • Try with a mix of cheeses like provolone or cheddar for variation.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the oven or air fryer to regain crispiness.
