This creamy and tangy Lemon Caper Sauce combines white wine, lemon juice, and parmesan for a versatile topping perfect for pasta, vegetables, chicken, or fish.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 cup heavy cream (Room Temperature (see notes))
  • 1 cup parmesan (freshly grated)
  • 2 tablespoons capers (drained)

Instructions

  1. Bring to boil: In a saucepan over medium heat, bring white wine and lemon juice to a boil.
  2. Reduce and stir: Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream. Reduce for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and mix: Remove from heat and stir in fresh grated parmesan and capers.
  4. Serve: Toss with pasta or vegetables or drizzle onto chicken, fish and more.

Notes

  • Use heavy cream at room temperature for best results.
