Delight in these easy no-bake tiramisu cups, perfect individual servings for parties that offer creamy mascarpone layers and espresso-soaked ladyfingers without the hassle of baking. A classic Italian dessert simplified into portable, elegant portions.

Ingredients

Scale

Mascarpone Cream

  • 250 g Mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • ΒΌ cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Other Ingredients

  • 1 cup Espresso or strong coffee, cooled
  • Ladyfinger cookies, quantity as needed for layering
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cream: In a mixing bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract together until the mixture becomes thick and smooth, forming stiff peaks. Stop beating once the cream holds its shape to avoid over-whipping.
  2. Dip Ladyfingers: Briefly dip the ladyfinger cookies into the cooled espresso or strong coffee. Be careful not to soak them to prevent soggy layers; a quick dip is sufficient.
  3. Layer the Dessert: Begin layering by placing dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of small cups or glasses, then spoon a layer of the mascarpone cream over them. Repeat the layering once to build two layers each of cookies and cream. Smooth the top gently with a spoon or spatula.
  4. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the assembled tiramisu cups for 2 to 4 hours to let the flavors meld and the cream set. Just before serving, dust the tops with cocoa powder. Serve cold for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • Use strong espresso or brewed coffee to impart authentic flavor.
  • Do not oversoak ladyfingers; a quick dip prevents sogginess.
  • Chilling time helps the dessert to set and the flavors to meld perfectly.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit any liqueur; for a traditional touch, add a tablespoon of coffee liqueur to the coffee.
