Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups dill pickles, sliced
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
  • Dressing:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup dill pickle juice
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool completely.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooled pasta, sliced dill pickles, cheddar cheese, red onion, and fresh dill.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, pickle juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and toss until evenly coated.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Garnish with additional dill or pickle slices if desired before serving.
