  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons parsley chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. Cook noodles: Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  3. Melt butter and cook garlic: Melt butter in skillet and cook garlic for 30 seconds.
  4. Add flour: Whisk in flour and cook for one minute.
  5. Add milk and cream: Slowly add milk and cream and cook until thickened.
  6. Add Parmesan: Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  7. Mix ricotta filling: Mix ricotta, half mozzarella, parsley, salt, pepper, and seasoning in bowl.
  8. Layer ingredients: Layer noodles, chicken, sauce, and ricotta mixture.
  9. Repeat layers: Repeat layers until dish is full.
  10. Bake: Top with remaining mozzarella and bake 30 minutes.
