A vibrant and crunchy mix of broccoli florets, crispy bacon, cranberries, and almonds tossed in a sweet-tangy creamy dressing, perfect for potlucks or summer BBQs.

  • 1 1/3 lbs broccoli florets, finely chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 slices crispy cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 1/3 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, crumbled bacon, cranberries, red onion, and sliced almonds.
  2. In a separate smaller bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, granulated sugar, apple cider vinegar, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss until everything is well coated.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Stir once more before serving, and enjoy chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • For a healthier option, use low-fat mayonnaise.
