Ingredients

Scale

Crescent Dough

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

Filling

  • 4 oz brie cheese, cut into cubes
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce

Optional Toppings

  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Fresh rosemary, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a mini muffin pan to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare Dough: Cut the crescent roll dough into small squares sized to fit into the muffin cups, then press each square firmly into the bottom and up the sides of each muffin cup to form a crust.
  3. Add Filling: Place one cube of brie cheese into each dough-lined muffin cup, then add about 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce over the brie.
  4. Top and Flavor: Lightly drizzle honey over each filled cup if desired, and sprinkle with chopped fresh rosemary for added aroma and flavor.
  5. Bake: Bake the bites in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes until the crescent dough is golden brown and the brie is melted and bubbly.
  6. Serve: Remove from oven and serve the crescent bites warm for the best taste and texture.

Notes

  • You can substitute fresh cranberries cooked with sugar if cranberry sauce is not available.
  • Adjust honey drizzle according to your sweetness preference or omit for a less sweet bite.
  • Use a small cookie cutter or knife to ensure dough squares fit neatly in muffin cups.
  • Brie rind is edible but can be removed if desired for a milder texture.
  • These bites can be prepared ahead and baked just before serving to keep them fresh and flaky.
