This Churro Saltine Toffee is a mouthwatering twist on the classic cracker toffee—featuring crispy saltines layered with buttery brown sugar toffee, topped with smooth white chocolate and a cinnamon-sugar sprinkle. It’s the perfect quick and easy dessert for gifting, holidays, or snacking any time of year.
40 saltine crackers (1 sleeve)
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Arrange saltine crackers in a single layer to cover the baking sheet.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar together. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Pour hot toffee mixture evenly over the crackers and spread with a spatula.
Bake for 8–10 minutes, until the toffee is bubbling.
Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle white chocolate chips over the top. Let sit for 2–3 minutes to soften, then spread evenly.
Mix cinnamon and granulated sugar in a small bowl, then sprinkle evenly over the white chocolate layer.
Let cool completely until firm. Break into pieces and enjoy!
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
For extra crunch, sprinkle chopped pecans or almonds before the white chocolate layer.
Great for edible gifts during holidays or party favors.
