  • 2 cans (8 oz each) crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)

For the Cheesecake Filling:

  • 16 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg (optional, for a richer filling)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Prepare Cinnamon Sugar: Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  • Layer the First Dough: Roll out one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the baking dish. Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon sugar.
  • Make Cheesecake Filling: Beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg (if using) until smooth. Spread evenly over the dough.
  • Top Layer: Roll out the second can of crescent dough and carefully place it over the filling. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle generously with cinnamon sugar.
  • Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Cool & Serve: Let cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or chilled for the best flavor.
