Ingredients

Scale

Dough Base

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

Spread

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 packet ranch dip mix

Toppings

  • 1 cup broccoli florets, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup grape tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 mini star-shaped cutter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough base: Unroll the refrigerated crescent roll dough onto a baking sheet. Pinch together the seams to seal and trim the dough into a large triangle shape to resemble a Christmas tree, leaving a small rectangle at the bottom to represent the tree trunk.
  2. Bake the crust: Place the shaped dough on the baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 9 to 11 minutes, or according to package instructions, until golden brown. Remove and allow it to cool completely.
  3. Make the ranch spread: Beat the softened cream cheese with the ranch dip mix until smooth and well combined.
  4. Spread the ranch on the crust: Once the crust is fully cooled, spread the ranch cream cheese mixture evenly over the entire surface of the crust.
  5. Add the vegetable toppings: Sprinkle finely chopped broccoli florets over the spread to imitate pine needles on the tree. Then decorate the tree with diced red bell pepper, halved grape tomatoes, and shredded carrots for festive colors and textures.
  6. Create the cheddar star: Using the mini star-shaped cutter, cut a star shape out from the cheddar cheese slices and place it at the top of the veggie tree as the tree topper.
  7. Serve: Slice the veggie pizza into small squares or bite-sized pieces for easy serving at your Christmas party.

Notes

  • Allow the crust to cool completely before spreading the cream cheese mixture to prevent it from melting.

  • You can customize toppings with other veggies like cucumbers or olives for more color variety.
  • To make it vegetarian, ensure the ranch mix and crescent dough contain no animal-derived enzymes or additives if necessary.
