Ingredients
Scale
Brownie Batter
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 ¾ cups granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ tsp salt
Decoration
Green chocolate frosting (amount as needed)
Sprinkles (as desired)
Instructions
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease it to prevent sticking.
Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted unsalted butter and granulated sugar until well blended. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract to infuse flavor.
Add Dry Ingredients: Gradually sift in the unsweetened cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, and salt. Stir gently but completely until the batter is smooth and uniform in color, taking care not to overmix.
Bake the Brownies: Pour the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with a few moist crumbs attached but is not wet with batter.
Cool Completely: Remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. This cooling step is important to ensure clean cuts.
Cut and Decorate: Once cooled, cut the brownies into triangle shapes resembling Christmas trees. Spread green chocolate frosting on each triangle and decorate with colorful sprinkles to create festive holiday treats.
Notes
To make cutting easier, refrigerate the brownies after they have cooled completely.
You can use store-bought green frosting or tint vanilla frosting with green food coloring.
For added texture, sprinkle crushed nuts or edible glitter on top of the frosting.
Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
