Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 3/4 cups whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pink gel food coloring
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate or white candy melts, melted
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate, melted (for drizzle)
  • Gold and white sprinkles
  • Sugar pearls and edible glitter
  • Optional: edible pink decor or themed toppers

Instructions

  1. Make the Waffle Batter: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix milk, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter.
  3. Add wet ingredients to dry and stir until just combined. Add pink food coloring to desired shade.
  4. Cook Waffles: Preheat waffle iron and lightly grease. Cook waffles according to your iron’s instructions until crisp and golden pink. Let cool completely on a wire rack.
  5. Dip and Decorate: Slice waffles into triangles or quarters. Dip one end in melted white chocolate. Drizzle with dark chocolate and immediately add sprinkles and edible decorations.
  6. Set and Serve: Let chocolate harden completely before serving or packaging.

Notes

  • Use gel food coloring for vibrant color without thinning the batter.
  • Allow waffles to cool fully before dipping to prevent chocolate from melting off.
  • Customize with seasonal or party-themed decorations.
  • Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
