Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate ganache (melted chocolate + cream)
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • Fresh cherries, pitted with stems

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. In a bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Mix in eggs and vanilla.
  3. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir until just combined.
  4. Spoon batter into mini muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool completely.
  6. Top each brownie with a dollop of ganache, a swirl of whipped cream, and one cherry.
  7. Chill slightly before serving for clean presentation.

Notes

  • Ensure brownies are fully cooled before adding toppings to prevent melting.
  • Use stabilized whipped cream if preparing ahead of time.
  • Substitute maraschino cherries if fresh ones are unavailable.
