Ingredients
Scale
Dough
2 cans crescent rolls
Filling
6 eggs
½ cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ lb cooked bacon or sausage
Instructions
Prepare the eggs: In a medium bowl, beat together 6 eggs and ½ cup of milk until fully combined and smooth.
Scramble the eggs: Pour the egg mixture into a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook gently, stirring frequently, until the eggs are just set but still moist. Remove from heat and set aside.
Arrange crescent rolls: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). On a large round baking sheet or pizza pan, unroll and separate the crescent roll dough into individual triangles. Arrange them in a circle with the wide ends overlapping at the center and the pointed ends facing outward, forming a ring.
Add filling: Spoon the scrambled eggs evenly over the center of the crescent dough circle. Top with cooked bacon or sausage, then sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over everything.
Fold dough over filling: Fold the pointed ends of each crescent triangle over the filling toward the center, slightly overlapping and pressing lightly to seal the ring shape.
Bake: Place the crescent ring in the preheated oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Cool and serve: Remove the crescent ring from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm.
Notes
You can substitute sausage with bacon or any cooked breakfast meat of your choice.
For extra flavor, add chopped onions, bell peppers, or herbs to the eggs before scrambling.
Make sure not to overcook the eggs during scrambling as they will cook further in the oven.
Use a pizza pan or large baking sheet to easily shape the crescent ring.
Serve with fresh fruit or a side salad for a complete breakfast.
