Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 large flatbread or naan
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tbsp chopped cilantro (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with taco seasoning, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper until fully browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Place the flatbread on a baking tray. Layer with cooked ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, and drizzle with nacho cheese sauce.
  4. Bake for 7–10 minutes or until cheese is melted and flatbread is crisp on the edges.
  5. Remove from oven and top with chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and sour cream.
  6. Garnish with chopped cilantro if desired. Slice and serve immediately while warm and cheesy.

Notes

  • Swap in ground turkey for a lighter version.
  • Add jalapeños for extra heat.
  • Use a blend of cheeses like Monterey Jack or Pepper Jack for added flavor.
  • Great as an appetizer or main dish.
