Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 large eggs, boiled and peeled
  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  • Prepare the Sausage Mixture – In a bowl, mix ground sausage with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Wrap the Eggs – Flatten a portion of sausage and wrap it evenly around each boiled egg.
  • Coat the Eggs – Dip each sausage-wrapped egg into the beaten egg, then roll in breadcrumbs to coat.
  • Air Fry – Lightly spray with cooking spray and air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes, turning halfway for even crispiness.
  • Serve & Enjoy – Let them cool slightly before serving warm with fresh herbs or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, use panko breadcrumbs instead of regular breadcrumbs.
  • Want a runny yolk? Boil the eggs for 6 minutes before peeling.
  • Swap pork sausage for chicken or turkey sausage for a lighter version.
  • Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer at 350°F for 3-5 minutes.
