Ingredients

  • 3 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into thin fries

  • 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt (plus more to taste)

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Soak cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes. Drain and pat completely dry.

  2. In a large bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, minced garlic, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  3. Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C) and lightly coat the basket with cooking spray.

  4. Arrange fries in a single layer (cook in batches if needed).

  5. Air fry for 18–22 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until fries are golden and crispy.

  6. While fries are still hot, toss with parmesan and parsley.

  7. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, make sure the fries are completely dry before air frying.

  • Swap parmesan with pecorino romano for a different cheesy kick.

  • Best served fresh, but you can reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–5 minutes.
