These 2-Ingredient Bagels are the ultimate no-yeast bread hack—made with just self-rising flour and Greek yogurt! Chewy, golden, and topped with everything bagel seasoning, they’re a quick and healthy option for homemade bagels without the fuss.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup self-rising flour

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat preferred)

  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

 

  • 1-2 tbsp everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or grease lightly.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine self-rising flour and Greek yogurt. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.

  3. Transfer to a floured surface and knead for 2–3 minutes until smooth.

  4. Divide dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll each into a rope and shape into bagels, sealing ends.

  5. Place on baking sheet. Brush tops with beaten egg and sprinkle generously with everything bagel seasoning.

  6. Bake for 22–25 minutes, until golden and firm.

  7. Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes for a deeper golden crust. Let cool slightly before serving.

 

Notes

  • If you don’t have self-rising flour, make your own by mixing 1 cup all-purpose flour with 1½ tsp baking powder and ¼ tsp salt.

  • Use non-dairy yogurt and skip the egg wash for a dairy-free/vegan option.

 

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container and toast before serving for best texture.
